Who we are
Munch runs food trucks on fixed routes to work sites across Sydney and the NSW South Coast. This app lets you see the truck coming, pre-book food, pay and earn rewards.
Your account
You need to be 16 or over to hold an account. Keep your password to yourself; anything done under your login is on you. One account per person.
Orders
A pre-book is a reservation. We do our best to have it ready when the truck pulls up. If we can't fill an item we'll swap it for something similar or refund it. Same-day bookings close 5 minutes before the truck is due at your stop.
Pickup codes and hand-offs
Anyone who says your 4-digit pickup code at the window can collect your order. If you choose "A mate" or "Drop it off", you're authorising us to hand the order to that person or leave it at that place — after that, it's out of our hands.
Paying
Pay at the window orders are paid at the truck by card or cash. Card payments in the app are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number. Prices include GST. If you don't collect a paid order we'll try to contact you; repeated no-shows may mean pay-ahead only.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancel free from the order page until the order is loaded on the truck or is due within 15 minutes. Card refunds land within 3 business days. If we miss a stop entirely, you get a full refund and we'll say sorry properly.
Live ETAs
ETAs are predictions based on live GPS and past trips. Traffic, weather and site access can change them. Don't make big plans on a one-minute ETA.
Munch Rewards
1 point per $1 collected, 100 points = $5 off. Points have no cash value, can't be transferred and may expire after 12 months of no activity. We can fix balances if something's gone wrong, and we'll tell you if we do.
Chef's Weekly
Weekly plans are made to order. Once the Sunday 6pm cut-off passes they can't be cancelled, because the kitchen has already bought the ingredients for you.
Food and allergens
Nutrition and allergen info is our best effort. Our kitchen handles the major allergens, so we can't guarantee any item is free of them.
Being decent
Don't abuse drivers, game the rewards system or scrape the app. We can suspend accounts that do.
Changes
We'll update these terms from time to time and flag it in the app. Keep using Munch and you're accepting the new version.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
